Why we treat the whole child

Sleep, sensory needs, posture, and nutrition all shape how a child communicates. Here is why our sessions look beyond the mouth.

Speech happens in a body. A child who slept poorly, who is overwhelmed by noise, or who is working hard just to sit upright has fewer resources left for talking.

That is why we start by understanding the systems that support communication and coordinate with occupational therapists, physicians, and teachers when it helps.

Parents and caregivers lead the team. Our job is to make the goals clear and the practice fun enough to become part of everyday life.
